Barton Creek Square is anchored by Nordstrom, Dillard's, Macy's, JC Penny, and Sears. Children's stores include Pottery Barn Kids, BabyGap, Club Libby Lu, Gymboree, The Children's Place, and more. In addition to the food court, a couple of sit-down options can be found at California Pizza Kitchen and Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassay. (Abuelo's is located outside the mall, on the outer rim of the parking lot.)

The mall is also home to the AMC Barton Creek Square 14 movie theater.

Kids who sign up for the Simon Kidgits Club ($5 annual membership fee) can participate in a variety of special events at the mall throughout the year.
