The historic Bartow-Pell Mansion, a New York City Landmark, is one of the most beautifully located country seats in the City. The house and grounds include formal terraces, a fountain, herb and perennial gardens, and the original 1840s stone carriage house.

getting there:
By subway: 6 to Pelham Bay, then take the Westchester Bee Line bus 45 to the Mansion's gates (bus does not run on Sunday).
