About Basilica of St. Mary

In addition to religious services, the landmark Basilica of St. Mary hosts workshops, concerts, art exhibits, and social events - including the popular Basilia Block Party each July.

Guided tours of the beautiful 100-year-old building are offered year-round following Sunday morning services; a self-guided tour brochure can be downloaded from the website in advance of a visit.

Getting There

The church presides over the southwestern edge of downtown, alongside Highway 94. Park free on weekends in the lot under the freeway on the west side of the church (weekdays $2-$4.25) or in a lot on North 17th Street. Fee parking is also available in a MCTC ramp east of the church.
