about Bass Museum of Art:
The Bass Museum of Art, founded in 1963 with the art collection of the Bass family, was housed originally in the Miami Beach Public Library and Art Center. The museum's existing collections and traveling exhibitions make it a terrific destination for art lovers.

getting there:
From the north, take I-95 south to I-195 east. Veer left to Arthur Godfrey Road once across causeway, and continue east. Turn right on Indian Creek Blvd. (becomes Collins Avenue) and continue south to 21st Street.
From the south, take I-95 northbound to I-395 east to beaches. Stay left and exit Alton Road north. Turn right on 17th Street, then left on Washington Avenue, then right on 21st Street. Go one block, then turn left on Park Avenue, the museum is on the right. A metered parking lot is on site, and additional metered parking is available on perimeter streets. Discounted parking is available at the 20th Street Garage (one block west of Collins) with museum validation (beyond two hours, standard rates apply).
