- My 3 year old girl and my 5 year old boy loved it. It's primitive, no amenities, no food or snack bar available, but someone forgot to tell my children. They went crazy when all the animals wanted to eat right out of their hands. Pack a lunch and drinks.

There's a petting zoo with lots of baby goats in the spring which my boys loved(watch your clothes they like to eat them). With admission kids get a free pony ride and there's a huge alligator & a giraffe baby you can actually see up close. Although, some of the animals in the tram ride are intimidating it was still fun. There's also camels, longhorns, deer, antelope, rhinos, kudu, elk, and water buffalo to name a few running free in the park.
