Beachwood City Park offers recreation opportunities for bicyclists, strollers, and even sledders. Trails span 1.6 miles in the park, and are a mix of paved, gravel, and wooden boardwalk surfaces. When on the trail, remember these rules: Pedestrians have the right of way; Bicyclists under the age of 16 are required to wear helmets; and No motorized vehicles are permitted on trail. (Other
rules available at city site.) The
sledding hill can be found via a wooden staircase leading from the Richmond Road entrance. Picnic facilities, including tables and a shelter, are also available here.
