Bear Creek Lake Park offers an abundance of recreational opportunities and environmental educational programming for all ages. Its close proximity to the metro area gives people a chance to experience nature and get away from the hustle of the city without driving for hours.

The park is also home to an array of wildlife - snakes, birds, coyotes, prairie dogs, birds of prey, and deer. Amenties include three lakes (Big Soda Lake, Little Soda Lake, and Bear Creek Lake), 15 miles of dirt trails for biking and hiking, 2,600 acres of parkland stretching almost three miles, 50 picnic tables with four reservable park shelters ready for group events, and 50 campsites, some with electricity.
