My three kids went, and i just finished taking my second grandchild, this is a great learning for your kids, as well as you.( you have to help out once in a while also)

I am one of those overprotective, mother-of-only-1, afraid-to-let-my-daughter-go mothers and my experience at the Bedford Co-Op has helped ME as much as it has helped my daughter! She has learned not only the cognitive skills preparing her for Kindergarten, but the social skills as well. And I have learned that there are such fabulous teachers and parents in this neighborhood who really want to make a difference in the lives of all of our children!

My children are 2nd generation co-op students. We love everything from the curriculum to the teachers to the parental involvement. Mrs. H and Miss Brenda have been there for 24 and 25 years with our preschool celebrating it's 50th Anniversary this year. When my children "graduate" from co-op they are completely ready to take on kindergarten!

Simply state Bedford Co-op is a wonder place. My children still talk about their expereinces there. Some of their favorite things were special box, calendar and winter picnic. My children became less shy, refined their speaking skills and made great improvements in there fine motor skills. Calendar time develops counting skills, teaches weather and the general functions of the calendar. Winter picnic is an event all children should expereince. My kids and their co-op friends still talk about winter picnic. Additionally, the school reinforced the values my family demands, respect for others, honesty and kindness. Our family left the Co-op two years ago; but, we still go back for events every chance we get. My kids love it when their old teachers see them around town and remember them by name and offer-up a big hug.

My son attended Bedford Co-op for two years and I do believe it is the BEST Pre-school around. The well- experienced teachers kept the kids entertained through incredible crafts, interactive play, stories, puzzles, theme weeks, group time, songs and field trips. The teachers exposed the children to writing their name, learning the 'letter of the week', and introduced colors, shapes and numbers. These are only a tiny portion of the lifelong lessons that my son learned at pre-school. My son still sings songs from pre-school and still talks about the fabulous teachers that taught him with love, support, encouragement, and laughter. The Bedford Co-op Nursery School is a great school and a great head start for your child!!

My three children have attended the Bedford Co-op over the past 5 years. The teachers are absolutely wonderful! They both do an exceptional job of preparing the children for Kindergarten while teaching them the basics of socializing. All while having a lot of fun. And the low tuition is well worth the extra 15 minute drive from surrounding Twinsburg, Macedonia, and Northfield areas. Being in a Co-op allows me to take part in thier education as well. I highly reccomend checking out this preschool!

LOVE the teachers, and the cooperative status that allows me to be involved. The cirriculum prepares the children for Kindergarten and the tuition is low. We have a lot of fun and my children have learned so much! I live in Sagamore Hills and the drive is worth it to me and it must be worth it to others since in the past we have had several students from Twinsburg, Macedonia, Northfield, and Peninsula as well as the immediate areas surrounding Bedford. I can't say enough about this preschool, it's awesome!

My shy daughter bloomed in confidence, social skills, and academics while attending for her first of two years, and my younger daughter is anxious for her turn! The warm and fun teachers are dedicated to the school and to the students. And the parental involvement is great! The parents are so friendly and the co-op program is so well designed that it feels like a PRIVLEDGE, NOT an obligation, to participate. Many families from communities other than the Bedford school system, such as Northfield, Macedonia, Twinsburg, Sagamore, Maple Heights and Garfield Heights come back year after year for each child in the family.
