About Belleview Park
Belleview Park is one of the largest parks in Englewood and is always a favorite with families. It offers pavilion rental, a miniature train (open summer only), horseshoe pits, and - just next door - Pirates Cove Aquatic Park .
The Children's Farm is here, too, featuring resident cows, pigs, goats, chickens, and sheep, among others. All barn animals are loaned from area farms and then returned to their owners at the end of summer. The farm also features Buttercup, a life-size fiberglass milking cow that provides kids with the opportunity to try to milk her. The farm is also open seasonally, from late May through Labor Day.
The shallow, meandering creek is perfect for dipping little toes; wading is ok when adults are present.

- Great way to spend an afternoon with kids (and not unload tons of money)! My boys are 4 and 7 and they love playing in the creek, petting the animals and riding the train. We bring a picnic and plan on being there for several hours.

[Submitted by Anonymous6/11/09 - we have gone to Belleview Park for years. We bring our picnic, our dogs, and park under a shady tree and let the kids play in the creek all day.

my kids are now 11, 8, and 5, and they all three enjoy it alot.
even when the parking lot is full, we never feel crowded either.
[Submitted by Lydia9/03/08 - This is one of our favorites. We can spend the entire day there riding the train ($1 per person, not free as is states above), going to the petting zoo (also a small fee) and letting the kids wade in the shallow creek that winds through the park. They love to bring nets and buckets and catch crawdads. There're plenty of shady spots to picnic and a playground nearby, too.
