Bellevue's Downtown Park features 20 manicured acres of green space for strolling, picnicking, and playing. Look for a half-mile circular promenade for strolling or running, flanked by a canal and shade trees and surrounding a waterfall and reflecting pool. Sit at one of the picnic tables or on the 10-acre lawn, and enjoy views of Mt. Rainier and downtown Bellevue.
A formal garden is located at the park's northeast corner, and kids will gravitate towards the nice castle-themed play area. The park is the site of numerous fairs and festivals throughout the year, including an Independence Day celebration and an ice rink during the holidays.
