The Belmont Branch of the New York Public Library is located in the heart of the "Little Italy of The Bronx." Also known as the Enrico Fermi Cultural Center, the three-floor branch was built as a result of the local community's strong desire to create a facility dedicated to Italian American heritage.
In addition to offering a full range of services for adults, young adults, and children, including a children's room on the second floor, the branch also offers special programming, exhibits, and extensive collections for borrowing and reference related to Italian and Italian American culture, language, and history.
The branch is fully accessible to wheelchairs.
