Bend-in-the-River is a two-acre area along the Jordan River where the Bennion Center, community members, local elementary school students, and community agency partners come together to restore the site and make it into an urban natural area. Volunteers meet throughout the year to care for the area by planting native plants, removing invasive weeds, and watering new plantings. The area has begun to serve the community as an educational site, a natural space, and a point of interest along the Jordan River Parkway.
