Horwich's recreational facilities include two family locker rooms, a full size gymnasium (including a climbing wall), swimming pool, and racquetball court.

The Early Childhood Learning Center is comprised of six specially designed nursery school classrooms and an outdoor playground. Preschool programs utilize the gym, pool, and multi-purpose rooms.

The lobby houses the Bea Owens Memorial Baby Gym, a special room dedicated to Bea Owens, a Horwich JCC staff person and volunteer for over 30 years. The Baby Gym is equipped with colorful mats, slides, and toys for young children (three years and younger) and their parents to enjoy.
