Bicentennial Campground is the most accessible campground in the Golden Gate National Recreational Park, approximately 100 yards from the parking area near Battery Wallace. It has three sites, each of which can accomodate up to
two people with one tent. Note that this is a great spot for mother/daughter or father/son
one-on-one camping, but a family cannot reserve two sites - the experience is strictly for sets of two. You'll have to bring water because the closest supply is about a mile away at the
Marin Headland's Visitor Center. Campers may use BBQ grills in the nearby Battery Wallace picnic area. Maximum stay is three nights per year. No pets. No fees.
