About Big Blue Marble Bookstore
The Big Blue Marble Bookstore is a locally-owned neighborhood bookstore carrying books for kids and adults. It has a wide selection of progressive, multicultural books, alternative pregnancy and parenting books, board books, picture books, and young adult fiction.
A cafe serves coffee, tea, juice, natural sodas, hot cocoa, prepared food from Weaver's Way Co-op, pasteries from local bakeries, and organic fruit. The store is breastfeeding and toddler-friendly, and the cafe includes a reading nook. It often has weekend events for children and families; check the Bookstore's website or send an email for details or to be added to the Blue Marble email list.
There is a changing station available in one of the two restrooms.

- There is a first-floor children's area that is very nice. Lots of books, blocks, a reading table, and rocking chair for nursing. The owner has a toddler and is very open to having kids and parents hang out there. There is a round couch for kids upstairs in the cafe that my toddler loves! A nice outdoor garden, tea, coffee, treats. And best of all, a great group of new moms in and out all day. Meet new moms, play groups twice a week. A great place for moms and kids.
