We first noticed Anissa Mayhew on Twitter, where she's renown by many for her quick and sometimes sarcastic wit. That's one of the reasons why a visit to her blog, Hope 4 Peyton, caught us by surprise. Anissa's site originated as a place to chronicle her youngest child's battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. But, as with all great blogs, it became a source of information, inspiration, and a fabulous account of one family's ongoing story - with all its ups and downs. It's also a place where parents of cancer children can find a voice and validation for their innermost feelings, in posts such as 10 Things Being the Mother of a Cancer Child Gave Me and Leukemia for Dummies.
