An independent bookstore - right here in Houston! Blue Willow Bookshop represents everything good we remember about bookstores from before the mega-monsters took over the literary landscape. The knowledgeable staff is glad to help you pick out kids' books or young adult fiction from among the wide variety of both classics and new titles.

About half the store is dedicated to kids' books and a great selection of games, gift items, puzzles, and stuffed animals. A play table is set out with puzzles and other activities to keep little hands occupied while you're shopping. And the store even offers free gift wrapping.

As a valuable part of the community, Blue Willow hosts several events for children such as storytime, an American Girl bookclub, summer game days, and appearances by children's authors throughout the year.
