about Blueberry Hill:

Pop culture reigns supreme at Blueberry Hill, a landmark restaurant within the eclectic U-City Loop district. The walls and hallways of the restaurant are jam-packed with music and movie star memorabilia from several eras. If you have to wait for a table you can make the time pass quickly by entertaining the kids with games of memorabilia-themed I Spy.

The renowned menu features hamburgers much loved by locals, as well as jerk chicken, vegetarian specials, homemade soups, salads, and breakfast items. We especially like the toasted ravioli appetizer, the pancakes, and the veggie burger (even the meat eaters love this one!).

The food is all cooked to order, so it can take quite a while for the it to be delivered to your table, but it's worth the wait. To pass the time, stroll down the hallways to check out photos of countless celebrities who have been photographed next to the restaurant's owner and local icon Joe Edwards. Board games are available at any table; just pay a $5 deposit and your server brings you your game of choice. Some booths even have games such as Parcheesi, Clue, and Scrabble inlaid right in the table top. Video games, jukeboxes, and an old photo booth round out the "waiting for dinner" entertainment options.

The restaurant regularly serves as a live music venue for local and national acts. Don't be surprised if Chuck Berry happens to be there performing while you dine; he's there once a month. Party space/rooms are available for rent.

Last, but not least, be sure to check out the east corner window display. Displays change throughout the year.
