We love this Hunan-style Chinese restaurant, conveniently located near both North Beach and Chinatown. The food is fresh, not too salty or oily. And they claim never to use MSG. That suits us fine, and the kids love to ogle the huge fishtank near the Pacific Avenue entrance. As with any popular restaurant, it's best to arrive early in order to avoid long waits and to get the best service for your children.
tips:
Known for their spicy dishes, but will make a dish as bland as you need it. Just make sure to tell them so, and be specific: they tend to err on spicy.
