The Brandywine Learning Center, winner of our 2009 Parents' Picks Award for Best Tutor or College Prep in Philadelphia, offers a selection of classes and summer day camp programs for kids ages seven and up, as well tutoring (in any subject) and SAT prep.

A variety of Harry Potter "edu-tainment" classes are available throughout the year, and Harry Potter Magical University Summer Camp, for kids ages seven to 12, provides an entertaining, literary-based environment that's packed with wizarding fun.

The Barley Sheaf Players theater company offers one-week Creative Drama Camps for kids ages seven to 12. Activities include improvisation, theater games, character inventions, stories, and much more. Three one-week sessions area offered in August.

The Learning Center also offers Summer Academic Academies, including Math Academy to empower math students, Summer Reading Book Clubs for kids in Kindergarten through grade five, and SAT Academy.

On Harry Potter Summer Camp: My children absolutely loved everything. My children couldn't stop talking about all the fun they had each day. The coin rewards were a great idea. I couldn't think of anything that could have been better. Everyone was wonderful, kind and very welcoming.

Brandywine Learning Center is the way tutoring should be for all children. Each child's needs are looked at individually .There is a true commitment to each child.

I've never seen an organization care so much about each and every single child! From beginning to end, they were exceptional, professional, warm.The one-on-one tutoring is truly individualized, not a canned program with a group of other students. The tutor is a certified teacher and incorporates Emily's school materials to make the instruction more relevant.

"My girls loved your summer camp. Just so you know, I told them they could only do one summer camp this year since we're traveling and they picked the Harry Potter camp. My older daughter is very picky, so consider it a great honor that she loved it so much. "

The Brandywine Learning Center is a great place for Harry Potter lovers and for those who don't know Harry Potter yet. But their other educational programs are also wonderful. The one-on-one tutor sessions gave my child that extra attention he needed. My daugther not only learned but enjoyed the sessions preparing her for the SATs. My youngest daughter truly took to the Drama Camp.

The Harry Potter summer camp has been wonderful. The Brandywine Learning Center has created an interesting curriculum that combines education and entertainment. Each weekly session has been unique. The campers even get fresh air while playing Quidditch in the backyard. Their camp and bookclub bring people together in a social environment to share a popular interest.
