Breezy Point Day School and Camp456

We have had such an amazing experience at Breezy Point over the past 7 years! My son attended Breezy Point from the age of 2 through Kindergarten and my daughter currently attends Breezy Point. As an elementary teacher and growing up with a mother who owned her own preschool I knew exactly what I was looking for in a preschool and a program for my own children. From the moment we visited Breezy Point, we knew there was no comparison to any other school we had seen. The teachers are truly amazing! Many of the teachers have been there for a number of years and it feels like a family when you are there. The curriculum focuses on stimulating the mind and nurturing the spirit. Children learn the academic skills they need to create a strong foundation for school while also being exposed to a variety of other extracurricular activities, such as Spanish. The grounds at Breezy Point are amazing! There are numerous playgrounds including "Breezy Town" which is a town where there are several child size buildings. Students can play house, check out food in a store, build in a workshop, dress up as a firefighter, etc. My soon-to-be one year old will be attending Breezy Point next fall. If you are looking for a preschool that builds a strong academic foundation for school, builds confidence, and is a place your child will love to attend then I highly recommend Breezy Point Day School!

There is just no comparison. As a teacher I am super pickey where my two year old and 5 year old go to school. I always wanted to be a stay home mom but had to go back to work so it was important I felt like I literally was dropping my babies off with family. With Breezy Point thats what it feels like...family. My son thrived since he was 18 months, he has learned more then I could've ever taught him. They don't just read a book and ask questions, the entire room turns into the theme and the kids experience things like France and learn at the age of 2! It's not just one playground for all kids. The grounds of Breezy Point are a magical wonderland for kids, playgrounds, houses, sandboxes, gardens... Put it this way, there are several places on my way to work, Breezy Point is in the opposite direction, but not far, I go out of my way to drop off my son because I know he is thriving there, is loved and has family like teachers at Breezy Point. No comparison:)

My son and 2 daughters currently attend Breezy Point, both the school and the camp. We have been there for 4 years now. The teachers are the number one reason we love it there. The majority of them have been there for many years, saying a lot for the school and a lot for the teachers. They love it there, and it shows. My children are cared for and respected in the best way possible. The teachers openly communictae with the us and have my childrens best interest at heart. I feel like it is their second home, and that they are lucky to be able to go there.
Secondly, the curriculm is excellent. The full day Kindergarden is really preparing my daughter for reading, my four year old son is learning to print and recognize letters, and my 3 year old is even learning Spanish.
Also, the grounds are like no other. One look and you will see the differece. There are lots of playgrounds, and indoor barn/gym, a pond, a village of little houses to play in and rolling hills. My kids have even gone sledding at school. How many kids get to do that at school?
Breezy Point has a wonderful staff, beautiful property and top notch curriculum. We are so glad our children are able to go there!

My two sons have both attended Breezy Point Day School. After researching many of the preschools in the area, I decided on Breezy Point because I could tell, just by visiting, what a loving environment the teachers and staff create for the students. Parents and teachers work together to help develop children socially, emotionally and academically. The grounds at Breezy Point are beautiful as well. I loved that my children were able to visit not just one playground, but several outside play areas including Breezy Town, Breezy Point Gardens and Wiki Wami. Best of all, some of our closest friends are other families we’ve met from Breezy Point.

I went to this daycamp from 1971 - 1974.
It is an excellent program that is a fond memory for me. The counselor's are fantastic and the site is beautiful.

My son has been going every summer for the past 5 years (he will be 11). He loves this camp. Has tried others and always wants to go back to Breezy Point. Counselors are great. There's a lot to do, except on rainy days. Great swimming program and different clubs to choose from.
