Brigham's is as Boston as baked beans, and food-wise it's a great place to grab a burger, hot dog, or grilled cheese for the kids. Don't forget to order a frappe (that's Bostonese for milkshake), made with Brigham's own ice cream.
It's a booth kind of place, which works well for wriggly children (you can pen them in), and if it's not actually time for a meal, you can settle in for a dish of ice cream, with or without jimmies (that's sprinkles, to you).

tips:
After you've finished your ice cream, take a trip over to Belmont Toys. Ice cream and toys in one day. It doesn't get any better than that!
getting there:
Take Storrow Drive to Rte 2/Arlington. Stay to left. Continue on Mt. Auburn; you'll pass a Star Market on right. After Star, bear right onto Belmont St. Stay on Belmont St. Brighams is at intersection of Belmont St. and Trapelo Rd.
