about Broward County Main Library:

This huge flagship of the Broward Library system offers many specialized library services.

For kids, check out the online search engine called Kid's Catalog Web accessed through the library's main page. Here you can do searches by topic, or alphabetically by author, or subject. Also available are lists of the best stories for different ages, sorted also by story type. Let the system do the search, and make those school projects, or trips to the branch, more fruitful.

Also available here is the Florida Diagnostic Learning Resources System, designed for parents, students, and teachers of special needs children. Information and resources to help children with various learning disabilities, such as autism, are included.

The Broward Community Technical Center offers computer access and training for library and public school staff and the general public.

The Bienes Center for the Literary Arts houses rare books and special collections.

The Main Library Theatre presents many shows throughout the year.
