about Brownstone Books:
Brownstone Books is a general bookstore specializing in popular and hard-to-find, African-American interest, adult and children's titles.
The store also hosts literary summer camps for children ages 5-12, bringing popular literary works to life through physically engaging, cultural, and educational activities. Camp sessions will run weekly from June through mid-August. Check the website for details.

getting there:
Take the A or C train to Utica Avenue, and ride the back of the train (the very last car). At the token both, exit through the right-side staircase directly into Fulton Park. Walk through Fulton Park, (once you exit the park, you'll be walking northwards along Stuyvesant Avenue). Cross Chauncey Street, Bainbridge Street, and at Decatur Street, make a left and walk one block to Lewis Avenue. Turn right and cross Decatur. Brownstone Books is on your right.
