Ok, so I don't know how old the original commentary above isn (sounds really, really old), but I do know it is very inaccurate as of the here and now. Here is the corrected information....The hours of operation are 4pm-10pm Mon-Thur, 4pm-11pm Fri, 11am-11pm Sat, & 11am-10pm Sun. And, there DO offer kids menus WITH crayons. And, the Pope Table at this Buca can actually seat up to 17 people. One this the reviewer above was right about was the fact that the Pope room and the Kitchen Table are pretty much always booked, so it IS definitely best to call as far ahead a possible to reserve! As for the rest of the comments...I mean no, it's not fine-dining, but it's not meant to be! It's supposed to be a fun, family-friendly experience in a festive, Italian immigrant atmosphere. After all, Buca's focus is "To be the fist choice in celebratory dining!" One thing is for sure in this family, my 9 yr old niece, 13 yr old nephew, their parents, I, and several others ALL think the food is pretty darn yummy. (In fact, far from bland and basic!) A few favorites are the Apple Gorgonzola Salad (of course), Fettuccini Alfredo, Chicken Parm, Chicken Carbonara, & Penne San Remo. Bottom line is you just have to try it out for yourself. And, please note, they offer discounted group packages for 15 people or more for those that want a fun eatery to celebrate any occasion in one of their private dining rooms (kids are half the adult pkg price). Went with mother-in-law, wife, three kids (10, 8, 3) and wife's brother and his wife. Food was acceptable -- not outstanding, not bad -- service was reasonably good, and the atmosphere was good for a group with kids -- lots of other kids around, noise level high enough to mask any brief outbursts, etc. They did come with crayons wrapped up in them. Everybody found the food good enough that we'll definitely consider it again.
