Bull Run Regional Park is a large outdoor venue for family events, concerts, and festivals. The park offers campgrounds, a water park, a playground, disc golf, soccer fields, a bridle path, hiking trails, and picnic areas.
The Bull Run Public Shooting Center includes sporting clays, skeet and trap, an indoor archery range, and archery and gun pro shops.
The main park closes in winter. Bull Run Public Shooting Center is open all year. The water park - which features a wading pool for young children with a clam shell slide, a large main pool, a 230-foot open slide and 170-foot tunnel slide, a water cannon, a play island with three slides, a shipwreck slide, a snack bar, and shade umbrellas - is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day; swim classes are available.

getting there:
I-66 west exit 52, drive two miles south, turn left onto Bull Run Post Office Road and follow the signs to the park entrance.
