about Burlington Players' Children's Theater Workshop:

The Children's Theater Workshop program is run by the Burlington Players under the sponsorship of the Burlington Recreation Department. The program began in 1973 and is run by volunteers from the Burlington Players and Winnmere Family Theater. The year begins in September with Creative Drama classes (grades 1-7) and Stagecraft workshops (grades 4-7 only), ending in December with a class demonstration. The program resumes in January and concludes with a stage production in late March/April. Creative Dramatics helps develop imagination, voice, body movement, storytelling, and other performance skills. In Stagecraft, participants get to "learn by doing" in scenery design and construction, lighting, sound, etc., using the actual Park Playhouse equipment.

getting there:

To reach the Park Playhouse, take Route 95/128 to Exit 34, Winn Street. Turn toward Woburn and take the third right onto Harriet Avenue (a steep hill). Follow to the end, and make a left onto Edgemere Avenue. You'll see the entrance to Overlook Park about 50 feet away. Drive into the park and bear left. The Park Playhouse is the last building on the right.
