Caesars Palace is quintessential "old Vegas." It opened in 1966 and has hosted countless renowned sporting events and star performances throughout the decades. More recently, this is where Celine Dion and Elton John have set up shop for a long run of concerts.
The "hotel of marble" is one of
luxury, and most of its rooms are housed in one of five towers. Rooms range from the classic guest room to premier suites. Nearly one dozen restaurants are found within the hotel; many more reside in the adjacent
Forum Shops.
The Temple Pool is awe-inspiring for children - heck, for anyone. It's 10,000 square feet in size, covered with a giant rotunda, and decorated with marble, granite, and ancient mosaics. It's joined by three other pools and two whirlpool spas in the
Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis.
High-speed Internet access and portable cribs are available for guests for a small fee. Check online for
discount packages or calling the hotel staff and asking what is available for families.
Caesars Palace features a number of respected gourmet restaurants, but families can also find a good selection of
casual dining options, including the 24-hour Augustus Cafe and the all-you-can-eat Cafe Lago buffet.
