This small local coffee chain is popular with families, and has a laid-back atmosphere. The lattes are truly superior.
Caffe Fiore offers Italian sodas, chai, juices, excellent coffee drinks and whole beans, and rather pedestrian pastries (but the locally-baked doughnuts look good). Don't come here hungry. Sit outdoors on the tiny patio at the Sunset Hill location, pet the dogs waiting outside, and watch traffic on its way to Golden Gardens.

getting there:
Located on the corner of NW 85th Street and 32nd Avenue NW. From I-5 or anywhere in the North Seattle west of I-5, exit at NW 80th Street/NW 85th Street (I-5 south) or Aurora Avenue N/NW 85th Street (I-5 north), or simply hop onto 85th Street, and follow it west all the way to the end. Cafe is on the left. Parking: Lot parking on 32nd Avenue NW, behind the building, or on NW 85th Street just east of the building. Public transportation: On Metro bus routes 17,18, and 48.
