Located on a 12-acre campus in downtown Escondido, the California Center for the Arts was designed to encompass all forms of the performing and visual arts in one location.
The Center includes a beautiful 1,500-plus capacity Concert Hall and a 400-plus capacity Center Theatre at which extraordinary artists perform, an art museum with visiting exhibits, and art studios that offer hands-on arts education in conjunction with local schools.

The Museum is closed between exhibits, so check the website for dates before venturing out. If you're early for a performance, you may stop in the Museum for a look around. The museum remains open until curtain time on all performance evenings. Admission is free for performance ticket holders.
getting there:
From I-15 exit at Valley Parkway, go east to Escondido Boulevard, then turn left. Go 2½ blocks to parking lot on right.
