Akron Aeros baseball games appeal to kids and their families for several very good reasons: tickets and food prices are very reasonable, any seat at
Canal Park is a good one from which to watch a game, and there's a lot to do besides "just" watch the game!
The Double A affiliate of the
Cleveland Indians started playing at
Canal Park in 1997 and has been a hit ever since. Regular between-innings shenanigans include "dizzy bat races" - in between pitches park staffers drive around in a golf cart, tossing t-shirts and other goodies into the stands for lucky fans.
For serious young fans, we recommend
Orbit's Baseball Buddies Kids' Club. Membership is $25, and offers free admission to five prime games, special giveaways, an autograph/photo session with players, a discount at the team shop, and half-price tickets for parents (to use during each of five Kids Club games).
