The Canogoa Park Youth Arts Center, housed in a historic building that once served as the first operator-assisted phone company in the San Fernando Valley, is now a contemporary art facility, complete with three workshops/studios, a garden classroom, a photography darkroom, and a gallery for exhibitions.
Local families love to take advantage of the free art classes for ages 6 to 17; offerings include screen printing, comic book art, drawing, painting, and art appreciation workshops taught by educators and artists from the LA art community.
