    about Carnegie Science Center:

    The winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the Pittsburgh's Best Museum for Big Kids and recipient of our 2009 Parents' Picks Award for Best Museum in Pittsburgh, the Carnegie Science Center, one of the top science centers in the country, offers more than 400 hands-on exhibits, an Omnimax theater, a real Cold War-era submarine, the world's largest robotics exhibition, an entire building devoted to the science of sports, and a world-renowned Miniature Railroad and Village display.

    Birthday parties at the Science Center for up to 20 guests are offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Call 412.237.3431 for details and reservations.

    The Science Center also offers half-day and full-day summer camps for kids ages four to 14, as well as camp programs on school vacation days, and a variety of classes and workshops during the fall and spring. Call 412.237.1637 for details and registration.
