I have to say Carvel in Keller is the best icecream I have ever had. I order my cakes from this store every year and have never had a problem with it not being fresh. Teresa the owner is always very friendly everytime my family and I come in. We will def keep coming here for family outings and cakes.

I grew up with Carvel in another part of the U.S. and this one is NOT A CARVEL Ice Cream Store. The ice cream is "grainy" and not tasty. Not realizing the above I bought a cake for my sister's birthday. The cake tasted horrible by everyone's standards. We called the store, the employee said, they were sorry and said to wait for the owner to get back to the location. We asked, "should we return the cake", they said no you do not have to. The rest will amaze you coming from an owner of a business. She was aloof, basically told us we were lying and was more busy complaining at how busy she was with some personal arrangements at the time. She was rude, and apathetic. We called Carvel corporate and they gave us a certificate for a future cake. We sent it to a friend of ours in Massachusetts since we will not go back to Carvel in Keller ever again. The owner's response was unprofessional and rude and that is the only reason I would not recommend. I think that Sheridan's and Freddy's Custards are better anyway. Which is sad because I have spoken to others and they have had similar bad experiences there regarding taste and customer service.
