The 23-acre Cathedral Park features a boat dock and boat ramp, an off-leash area, paved walking paths, picnic tables, and an amphitheater.

The site is believed to be one of the 14 Lewis and Clark landing sites in the Vancouver-Portland area, and was used as a fishing and camping site by many area Indian tribes.
