Well just heard they do open at 9:00 a.m...now..yipee - my 7 year old granddaughter will be thrilled.

A great water park...just needs to open in the summer time by 9:00 a.m. before it gets so hot!

seriously dont bother going to this waterpark. we went today and there were 250 daycare kids. big kids. if daycares are going to run this waterpark, then there needs to be some sort of regulation. everyone had to pull their toddlers off the splash pad and go home because it was overflowing with 12 year olds. no thanks. never again. all i can do is hope that the city of allen will set limits to daycares. sure, if you would like your small child trampled over than go for it. not to mention that none of the parents except myself seemed to follow the "kids in diapers must wear swim diapers and kids should wear rubber soled shoes." also the older kids are totally perverted with some of the water sprayers. i confirmed that when i uploaded the pics to my computer. one last thing to top it off....we went today which is a thursday...the park is closed on wednesdays for maintenance and cleaning but to our surprise 3 of the best water parts were broken. totallly lame.

It's a very nice park. My kids LOVE going there to play in the spray ground as well as the play ground equiptment. The only thing I do not like about it is there aren't very many shaded areas.

Nice park. The area around the spray ground and playground needs more shade for spectators. Also not as fun when you take your kids and there are daycares at the park. Free fun for the kids and parents! My 14 month old toddler LOVED this place!

My son loves this place! It's very close to our house so I feel very lucky! I can't wait until my youngest son is old enough to enjoy it too!!!

Hats off to Allen for making such an awesome park! I have never seen anything like this...and for free. I wish I were 5 again.

Just FYI the splash pad at this park is never on, on wednesday. But when it is on it is a great place for tots!

This park is a great place all year round. Summer time is great for the spash pad! Very large play ground and tons of swings. Never too crowded. Love this place. I have a two year old.

a great place to take the kids. Covered picnic area tables... two ponds to fish at or watch the birds/ducks/turtles... approx. 1.5 mile loop to ride your bike around...lots of great field space, taken care of it seems... wonderful to fly kites, send up rockets... and great upcoming concert/fireworks at the last of June

Great play area for children; insufficient benches for parents watching children; Benches face wrong direction for watching kids on playground.

...very hot in summer and hard to keep the little ones from getting burned, both on the slides and off. It has some shade areas for eating, but the playground needs cover. The waterpark is great during the summer.
