about Center Stage Academy:

Center Stage Academy is dedicated to teaching the performing arts to children of all ages. The staff of highly trained instructors helps kids discover their hidden talents.

The facility includes a large 4,000 square foot facility, with three studios, a playroom, and a study room.

Classes: Center Stage Academy offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for ages seven and up. A combination class for children ages three to six - in Ballet and Tap, or Ballet and Acrobatics - is also available. Programs include Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop, Cheerleading, Boys and Teen Hip-Hop and Break Dance, and Musical Theater.

Afterschool Programs: The Afterschool Dance Care Program provides transportation from students' schools. Snacks and drinks are provided, and students participate in a performing arts class, study time, and play time. Qualifying schools include Red Bug Elementary, Casselberry Elementary, Sterling Park Elementary, English Estates Elementary, Eastbrook Elementary, and Dommerich Elementary.

Summer Camps: The center offers a number of summer camp options, including summer productions of The Wizard of Oz, Mini Performing Arts Camp for kids three to six, and Summer Day Camp.

Our family loves CSA. They have been enrolled in the after school program for 3 years and love the variety of classes they get to choice from. My daughter does dancing, acting, vocals, cheer and tumble all at the same location. CSA has it all! We love the staff of after school counselors and instructors. CSA has wonderful summer camps with field trips, fun activities and all types of classes. I feel happy and safe going to work knowing my daughter is having fun filled days and being exposed to all types of classes. CSA has it ALL!

Center Stage has a positive instruction along with great programs for after school and summer. The teachers, After School Counselors and Office staff really care about the children and are good role models to them. Our girls love the variety of classes that CSA offers. They get exposed to all styles of dance but also tumbling, acting, singing and modeling. They have a lot to offer that other studios don't. CSA is like family to us! We couldn't be happier!

My daughter has been going to Center Stage Academy since she was 3 and is now 8. She started off with just one class a week and now is in the after school program for her 4th year! The staff is great and they truly love the kids. They do field trips and are excellent at supervising my child with homework and activities before dance class. It is like family at CSA. My daughter is on the dance competition team and dances 4 days a week. Instead of believing one disgruntled parent that basically was asked to leave the studio...you may want to find out for yourself! Otherwise you and your child will be missing out on a great experience! I think it is sad that a disgruntled parent is going around writing bad reviews...when they were asked to leave for harassing the staff.

The after school program is poorly supervised. Children are left unattended in the back room while the adults that are supposed to be supervising are up front in the reception area.

Lacking Safety and Supervision Several complaints have been filed with DCF reguarding child safety and lack of Supervison. You can access these reports throught the DCF website. The owner is clearly more interested in profit and perfection than child safety and parent communication. Those reports and these reviews offer up clear evidence of the issues the owner has. The staff here seems undereducated and the general state of this Academy is always late and running behind. While the Performing Arts category of this Academy may have skills a child can use, the blatant lack of care for child safety and inability for the owner to tell the truth to concerned parents is enough reason to avoid trusting them with your younger children. I would recommend this Academy only to children 12 or over, as it seems the staff is incapable of handling children younger than these. Do yourself a favor, and place your childs safety over that of the owners wallet, by finding an Academy with concerned staff.

I think Center Stage Academy is a great dance studio. My kids love all of their teachers and take a lot of different classes. They go after school everyday and love the summer camp.

My daughter loves going to Center Stage Academy. All she wants to do is dance, dance, dance! They have the best teachers for all the dance classes and musical theater. She really loves Miss Jay!

My daughter has been at Center Stage since she was three. She is now seven and we still love CSA. She has learned so much and has been on the competition team for 3 years now. I think it is sad that a disgruntled ex-instructor and her friends are going around making up nonsense and writing bad reviews. Come on...seriously!!!

I tried to close my eyes to a lot of things, but these people just took advantage of my good nature one too many times. They were unbelievably poorly staffed. In the 3 months we were there we saw at least 30 of their best dancers "disappear". When we asked what happened we were told they were "on vacation" or "taking some time off" or ignored. If I could predict the future, I would predict that this studio will not be around next year.

My daughter loves dancing at Center Stage Academy! She has been at CSA for a couple of years. She has learned so much about dance and is learning wonderful technique. She has made some great friends and absolutely loves her teachers. I feel confident that she is learning and having fun when she is there. To top it off I know how much the owner truly loves the kids. We all have so much fun at CSA!

I would defnitely recommend Center Stage Academy for a dance studio. AND for cheerleading, and for their great after school program. And in the summer they have a fun summer camp program with lots of field trips and a big musical theater production. My two children have gone to this studio for a few years now and they have improved so much and they love to go! Center Stage Academy has the best teachers!

My daughter has been dancing with Center Stage for alittle over a year now and loves it. They have a great after school program and summer camp. They perform in Competition all over the state of Florida and the kids have so much fun. The teachers are great with the kids and they have age appropriate classes and routines. Our whole family loves watching all the kids perform there best. They have everything a little performer wants to learn. All types of dance, theater, cheerleading and more. We love all the teachers, but best of all they love our kids. Thats what matters most (the kids).

Our child has taken dance at Center Stage Academy for a few years . She is also enrolled in the after school program and has gone to the summer dance camp, and we are very happy with both! They even offer musical theater, and cheerleading classes! I would defnitely recommend this dance studio!

friendly staff and very impressive instructors. My daughter started one year ago as a beginner and it's great to watch her progression. Would recommend to any parent looking to get children in after school program.

There are only a couple qualified teachers. Most of the classes are taught by non professionals, and those seem to start late, end early. Even though very nice, the studio owner seems to miss a lot of classes she is scheduled to teach. Not sure it's worth the time or money, unless for convienence of after school program- which we do not use.

1st year observor

The classes and instuctors are impressive. We were not impressed with the afterschool program. Not supervised and kids did what they wanted to. We removed our daughter after 3 months.
