The Central Valley Golf Course is a nine hole course. It is shorter than regulation length, but longer than executive length, making it a great course for beginners of all ages, both males and females. It is also a good place for golfers who wish to work on improving their game. Seniors and juniors get a discount on golf games played on Mondays through Fridays. Tee times start at 6am. The last tee time is at 7:40pm (depending on daylight). It is always a good idea to call ahead to reserve a tee time, especially on weekends.
A junior league is available for kids between the ages of eight and 15. Children in the league must be able to play nine holes unattended by an adult. The league runs mid June through mid August. The price is very reasonable, and it covers prizes and the season ending lunch and awards presentation. Participants pay just $3.50 for nine holes on Tuesdays and half price for range balls if needed.
Central Valley Golf Course is the host course for the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf Program. The program is intended for girls who are just getting started in the game of golf, or for girls who want to improve their game. Inexpensive fees cover nine hours of instruction, ten hours of golf, games, contests, and a pizza party at the end of the program. Call for details.
Two 18 hole mini golf courses are open the same hours as the driving range (Golf in the Round): 9am to 10pm in the summer, 9am to 8pm in the spring and fall, and 9am to 6pm in the winter. Unlimited play costs adults $5 Tuesdays through Sundays. Children pay $1 less than adults. Mondays are Family Days; adults and kids pay just $3 to play. The direct line for the mini golf courses and the driving range is 801.973.2345.
