Centro Cultural de la Raza is a cultural center dedicated to "creating, promoting, and preserving Chicano, Mexican, and Native American Art and culture." While it's not specifically geared to children, the bright colors of the art exhibits and the murals decorating the outside of the building are appealing enough, and it's an excellent place to learn about common cultural heritage.
The center has studio space for local artists and often hosts dance and musical events. Ballet Folklorico and Aztec dance companies, for instance, use the Center as a base of operations. Each offers weekly dance classes for children five and older.
