Century Cycles' flagship bike shop is situated just a few feet from the Towpath Trail* that runs from Cleveland to Akron through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, making it perfect for travelers (or those who want to ride before they buy). Other Century Cycles locations are also located near busy bike routes, and each store is staffed with folks who know the routes as well as they know bikes (which is very well).
The Peninsula store offers bike rentals for riders (and passengers) of all sizes, and even rents child trailers to pull behind hybrid or comfort bikes; the fee includes helmets.
*We highly recommend riding the Towpath or Metroparks all-purpose trail, but if you're going with new riders, pick a weekday or go early in the morning on weekends - paths can be crowded (and intimidating) on pleasant weekend afternoons.
