about Cereality Cereal Bar and Cafe (CLOSED):

Cereality is a small restaurant chain with stores in Philadelphia, Chicago, and Tempe, AZ, that offer a unique dining experience focused entirely around brand-name cereals. Menu offerings include favorite brands from Quaker Oats, Kellogg's, General Mills, Post, and Nature's Path. Customers at Cereality can choose from more than 30 different cereal varieties, over 40 different toppings (everything from malted milk balls to fruits and nuts), a variety of milks (including soy and lactose-free), as well as hot and cold beverages. The menu also features a wide range of signature Cereality blends of cereals, toppings, and mix-ins, including made-to-order varieties of Quaker Oatmeal. In addition to being served in bowls, the cereals are featured in bars and other homemade bakery items, snack mixes, granolas, parfaits, and smoothies. Children's Cereality favorites include the Kid's Bowl - one scoop of cereal, one topping, and all the milk you can drink - for $2.89, and Sloops, special spoons that double as straws. Kids of all ages can take home a box of a favorite cereal blend. The "My Cereal. My Way." boxes can be decorated to complete the customization. The atmosphere at Cereality is like a residential, home kitchen, punctuated by displays of familiar brand-name cereal boxes in custom-built kitchen cabinets. Pajama-clad "Cereologists" prepare orders to customers' specifications. High chairs are available and there's a changing table in the ladies' restroom. Cereality offers catering, gift boxes, and Cereality Celebrations, party packages starting at $9 per person that include a Kids' Bowl with a choice of cereal and one topping, a choice of a cereal bar or a piece of fresh fruit, a beverage, a Sloop, coupons, and invitations.
