Challenger 7 Memorial Park is a large park with lots of things to do...fishing, a boat dock, playgrounds, pavilions, picnic tables, hiking, wildlife observation decks, and a bird sanctuary. Restroom facilities are available. Overnight scout camping is permitted. Reservations are required; call the Precinct One Southside Reservation Office at 713.440.1587.
getting there:
From I-45 South, take Nasa Road 1 (FM 528) west. Go about 1/2-mile, then turn left onto West Nasa Boulevard, where it splits from FM 528.
