Parents' Picks quest to find the best
Family Friendly Restaurant in the Bay Area,
Chenery Park Restaurant offers a fine dining experience while your little ones are making wild animal noises and drawing madly with crayons and paper. Believe it or not, the waitstaff just smiles in appreciation. It's
CP Kids Night at
Chenery Park Restaurant, where on Tuesdays parents can have a nice enough dinner - if you don't mind all the kid noise! - and kids can be kids.
The food is mostly Americana, from the meatloaf dinner special to the regular menu item of steak and fries. The CP Kids Night menu offers standard kid fare, such as burgers, mac 'n cheese, and chicken nuggets.
Of course, you can bring the family along any day of the week. The food is pretty accessible, especially if your little diners are used to San Francisco's cuisine-scene. Baked macaroni and cheese and French fries are always available for the less-adventurous. Save room for fun, filling desserts such as root beer floats, gingerbread bundt cake, and cookies and ice cream with enough to share, or you might prefer to keep the cafe au lait creme brulee all to yourself.
Note, menu items are subject to change. If you have a favorite, call ahead to make sure it is on the menu that day.
