About Chesapeake Arts Center
The Chesapeake Arts Center houses the 904-seat Hammonds Lane Theatre, the 110-seat Studio 194 Theatre, gallery space, a ceramics lab, dance studios, a music room, resident artists' studios, a scene-shop, and classrooms.
Classes are offered for kids and adults in visual arts - pottery, drawing, sculpture; dance - ballet and tap; music - voice, guitar, percussion; and health - yoga, tai chi, and fitness. Summer camps (ages seven and up) include dance, musical theatre, and art.
