The tudor-style, British-feel Cheshire Lodge has been a city institution for nearly forty years. Located one block from Forest Park, the lodge features European antiques throughout the hotel and guest rooms. An indoor/outdoor pool conservatory is a family favorite, as are the complimentary breakfasts.
Rooms range from the double queen guestrooms, king rooms, and mini suites. Specialty rooms include the raised king canopy rooms (complete with stepladder!) and the very popular themed suites: They must be booked months in advance for a Friday or Saturday night stay. All rooms have Internet access, writing desks, and televisions.
The famous Fox and Hounds Tavern is on site, specializing in British Isle ales and authentic pub grub; the European Wine Garden is just outside the hotel and offers Victorian pizzas and other light appetizers.
