With anchor stores such as Dillards, Sears, and Macy's, the Chesterfield Mall also has several shops that cater to kids, including Gap Kids, Gymboree, Old Navy, Pottery Barn Kids, The Children's Place, Abercrombie Kids, and The Disney Store. The mall houses the Chesterfield 14 movie theaters.

A full food court is on site, and shoppers also enjoy eating at Macaroni Grill, the Cheesecake Factory, and California Pizza Kitchen. The mall concierge service provides complimentary Boobaloo Strollers (car-shaped carts) and balloons to all young guests; kids can also head to the mall's Playtown, located near the Family Lounge on the Lower Level near Sears.

In 2009, the mall added a unique component: Artropolis, a series of storefronts rented to local artists and crafts-people. Several of the galleries double as studio space, allowing the public to occasionally see art in the making or participate in workshops and special events. You can find it in the Sears wing.
