About Chicago Architecture Foundation
The Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF), housed in the ArchiCenter, offers 90+ different tours - ranging from Chicago neighborhoods, to suburbs, to a varied selection of Chicago Loop tours, including Downtown Deco and Modern Skyscrapers.
The tours include river cruises, bus tours, on bicycle, walking and on Segways. All are led by CAF docents. The docents are well trained and provide a running commentary on the buildings, public art, and communities they represent.
The CAF also offers tours for children and high school students. Led by CAF docents who are specially trained to work with young people, the tours encourage student participation and inquiry. See website for details.
No reservations necessary for walking tours. All tours operate rain or shine. Any two different standard walking tours may be purchased for a discount.
Purchase tickets in advance by phone or by visiting Ticketmaster.
