The Center for the Performing Arts houses a music school that offers group and private lessons for adults, kids, and teens, programs for young children, electronic music classes, and more. Instruments covered include piano, guitar, voice and vocal training, bass, drum, violin, flute, saxophone, trombone, jazz classes, and Steinberg Cubase training.

It's also home to a performing arts school for children and adults, in addition to acting as a theatrical venue, chiefly for musical theater.

The EarlyBirds! Early Childhood Music Program is for children who've started walking through five years. Classroom activities include singing, dancing and playing of various age-appropriate instruments. The program focuses on the development of rhythmic coordination, tonal comprehension, and musical participation. sessions are 12-week seasonal quarters.

Private musical instruction is available. Kids can also pair up with a buddy and have lessons together, making it that much easier to convince your young one to try it. Call for details.
