The 2005 World Series Champions, the Chicago White Sox hail from the South Side, calling U.S. Cellular Field - specifically the dugout behind third-base - home. Families can enjoy the excitement of watching the White Sox play baseball. Before every game, after every White Sox home run, and after White Sox victories, fireworks explode. On select Friday and Saturday fireworks nights there is a spectacular fireworks display set to theme music at the end of the game. (Adults with little ones who are frightened by loud noises take note!) Make the game even more of an event by tailgating (allowed in selected areas of The Cell's parking lot), or by taking extra time to check out the amazing, 14,000 square foot Fundamentals area and the Speed Pitch Machines at The Cell. Ticket prices vary per seating section. Tickets are available online at whitesox.com, any Ticketmaster Center, or by stopping at the U.S. Cellular Field Box Office. Fans holding tickets for the 100 level may seek autographs by the home and visiting dugouts from the time the gates open until 25 minutes before game time. White Sox players are also scheduled to sign autographs for kids 13 and under prior to each scheduled Kids Day, held on select Sundays during the season.
