Child Education Center (CEC) is an indoor/outdoor center providing drop-by-and-play time (when parents stay and drop-off child care - no reservations needed! CEC offers a variety of supervised play areas, including a Gym-n-Jump area featuring a bounce house with slides and a ball pit. A Lifestyles Area inspires children to play and use their imagination while pretending to cook, dressing up, caring for baby dolls, and building with construction blocks. A computer and Play Station 2 games are also available for kids who stay to play. CEC also offers summer day camps and birthday parties - and space is limited for both. To register for a camp or arrange an event, call several weeks ahead. For parents who want to drop by and let their kids play, entry fees are $6-$9; drop-off child care (for up to four hours) runs $12 for the first hour, $7 thereafter. Discounts are offered for siblings dropped off at the same time. Membership options are available (starting at $40-$60/year) and members save 15% to 40% off all services, including drop-by and drop-off care, day camps, and parties.
